Mosiac Art on the Stairs

One day we checked out the mosaic art project on the Otorongo stairs.

Story goes that the artists created the themes, based on interviews with local folks who shared their experiences of what it means to live in Cuenca.

The mosaic pieces were added by members of the community, including children assisted by the artists.

Almost complete, with a small area still in process.

What a beautiful project!
